When washing your hair please shampoo first on dry hair then add the water second. This will enable the oils to be broken down and dispersed.

What is a Healing Crisis?

The healing crisis is the period of change which a person passes through in order to cleanse, regenerate and become healthier. A healing crisis is triggered when a person moves in a healthy direction. As the many organ systems of the body eliminate toxins, the mind releases old thought structures and habit patterns, and unwanted emotional states can be expressed and cleared. This is a process of cleansing and healing which allows stagnant material on all levels of experience, physically, emotionally and mentally to surface and be eliminated.

There are a wide variety of reactions that may manifest during a healing crisis.

Typical reactions include:

  • Increased thirst

  • Runny nose and/or cough

  • Headaches

  • Frequent visits to the toilet

  • Feeling emotional or weepy

  • Stiffness

  • Deep sleep, vivid dreams or
    having difficulty sleeping

  • Slight rash or spots as the skin
    re-balances

  • Conditions that have been suppressed may flare up temporarily
